Right now, I’m exhausted from holiday activity, no, no rest after NaNo for me. (wry grin) It’s been all I could do to keep up with my blog posts, let alone anything else. I’ve decided to continue on where I left off last Saturday in My Tool, My Treasure…(I posted here, although I didn’t make it to our Facebook spot, sorry!) This is a little bit longer than six sentences, but it’s a very short sentence I added…(apologetic bow)

He snatched his hand away, feeling his index vibrate with a pain which was almost sensuous.

Dyvian lowered his head, fixed his pale gaze upon Leiwell. He stretched his fingers from his voluminous sleeve toward his creation.

“Come to me.” His voice rang with a musical clarity, Seraphix breathing their own energy in his words, reinforcing his conviction.

Leiwell took a step forward to his master, to the one he owed everything to. Yes. This was why he was here.

Conversations with Christopher: After NaNoWriMo

Christopher: Well, it’s over. Only I truly hope it’s not over.

Me: Don’t worry. NaNoWriMo may be over, but I’ve gotten almost 40K of your, or rather Damian’s story down in a story form. Even if it defies standard chronological order. Well, it doesn’t defy it exactly, but it…plays with it.

Christopher: Yes. (He smiles, cheeks coloring, and eyes alight) It certainly does.

Me: Wait, are you glowing?

Christopher: Maybe. Just a little. After all, some of what you figured out while writing My Tool, My Treasure made me very happy.

Me: Well, considering what you’ve already done and the feelings you’ve revealed, the conclusions I came to made sense.

Christopher: Thank you. I can’t say much more without giving away spoilers…but thank you.

Me: Looks like you, Danyel, and Tayel may end up with happy endings after all. I wasn’t sure if you would. (mutters) Now what can I do to complicate things? Or at least put a twist upon matters?

Christopher: What was that?

Me: Oh, nothing.

Christopher: Please. Don’t spoil the moment with your schemes.

Me: I won’t, I won’t…(in an undertone) Heh, heh, heh…

Christopher: What are you muttering?

Me: Nothing, nothing…

I’m still mentally in the NaNoWriMo, still running forward even though it’s over…I’ll soon need to shift gears for everything I have to do in December. (wry grin) Here’s a little something more from my NaNo project, right where I left off last week. (Yes, I was here last week, although due to Thanskgiving madness and being on the road a lot, I never did post my snippet on Facebook)…

Not that Dyvian nor anyone else was paying attention to Gryluxx’s jewelry. His talisman didn’t matter. Not in this ceremony. Only one object was sacred to Seraphix, the link between each Follower and their god.

Leiwell reached up to touch the coin around his neck, laying against his bare flesh under his tunic.

The small metal disc scorched his fingers, hissing against his breast.
