For mine, Quartz and Prunella are going to pick up where they left off last Saturday…
What was the point in lying? Dragons could sniff out the truth. “Sanctuary from the conflict that plagues my kind.”
“Hah, that’s an unambitious answer.” Prunella snorted, filling the air with smoke.
I cleared my throat, trying not to inhale the stench of brimstone, coal, and pepper.
I’ve met people with worse breath…

Quartz: (fussing with his beard) Ambition leads to trouble…and fight with goblins. I’d like to keep myself and my brothers far from it. (gives a nervous look over his shoulder)
Prunella: (makes a stinky harrumphing sound)

Prunella: Hrmph. I’ll have you know I love the smell…and taste of brimstone. Ask any of the gargoyles.
Imp and Smirk nod emphatically from another universe…
Quartz: (rubs his nose) That’s really a matter of personal taste…
