Peeved at Christopher’s constant rejection, Peter has turned to the worst possible rebound romantic interest…Duessa Ashelocke. Gabrielle has just announced that whether or not Peter goes with Duessa is Peter’s choice, much to Christopher’s dismay (who’s certain Peter doesn’t know what he’s getting into!)
“Gabrielle, no!” I cried. I no longer bothered to keep my voice down. “She’ll eat him alive!”
“I eagerly anticipate such a fate!” Peter said, regaining his compusure enough to leer at Duessa. “Please, lovely lady, devour me at your leisure!”

It’s hard to say whether he’s clueless and thinks it’s a metaphor or whether he’s taking her literally and really wants it! LOL.

Peter is taking entirely too much delight in the situation (all the more because this is the closest thing to jealousy he’s ever gotten from Christopher) and being a bit too careless in his enthusiasm. (wry grin)

Challenge accepted, here are my six sentences ( and Happy Writing!):
His first instinct to push Andy away, though he couldn’t say why, Nickolas succumbed to the passion being force fed him. He licked the other young man’s mouth open and sucked his tongue. Slumping against the closed door, he spread his thighs, straddling the leg Andy fitted between his knees.
Andy hummed and shifted his stance, backing up enough to allow his surprised captive freedom of movement. Nickolas took that opportunity, though not to struggle free. One arm freed from the straps of his pack, he let it slide off the other, dropping his burden by the bed.

Hot stuff! Although I really should have given more description of Rainbow Snippets…you post six sentences on your own blog. (apologetic grin) I’m sorry, I should have made that it clear. He could have. ‘Brie would *never* let Duessa use her more coercive abilities within the Navel. Duessa knows this, so she has to get Peter’s consent before she can do anything to him. Or Christopher’s for that matter.
